"Rockland Flooring Expands Global Presence Through Acquisition Of Nelson International’s Trailer Components Division"

Rockland Flooring is pleased to announce the acquisition of Nelson International’s Trailer Components Division.  Founded by David Nelson in 1972, Nelson has spent over three decades supplying components for trailer and truck body manufacturers worldwide.  Over the years, Nelson has also developed an extensive network of suppliers throughout Asia and South America that are dedicated to the manufacture of products for the trailer industry.

Rockland Flooring is based in Red Wing, Minnesota and specializes in the production of laminated Oak and Maple flooring for dry freight vans, containers and truck bodies.  Rockland operates four laminated flooring plants in North America as well as an import division based in Monon, Indiana.  The import division manufactures and distributes a variety of products for the trailer industry including; Apitong shiplap decking, Purple heart decking, plywood, tie slats, kickboards, laminated flooring, and floor spacers for reefer vans.
